Behind every slashed health budget is a human life. On Friday, June 5 at 6:30pm, our community is coming together for a candlelight vigil at the Hawaii State Capitol to honor lives already lost from healthcare cuts, and to stand for the millions more at risk if funding isn’t restored. Congress passed over $1 trillion in healthcare cuts last year and deliberately delayed them until after the midterms to keep voters in the dark. From June 1 through 7, organizations and advocates across the country are hosting town halls, rallies, forums, and candlelight vigils. Stand with us.
